Welcome to Solstice Welsh Cobs!
It was our goal to breed and produce athletic taller
Welsh Cobs and Welsh Cob/Arabian crosses that are suited
for Dressage, the show ring and other performance disciplines
Lynda succeeded beyond our greatest dreams.
In her memory, this website will continue to display some of
her finest accomplishments.

Solstice Chivas Regal

We've since sold 'Nugget', but under Lynda's careful training, he did win many blues in Trail, Halter and Dressage.  In Introductory level Dressage tests he has received scores of 70%, 72% AND 76%, including High Score awards from three different judges at his first shows, and scored 8's and 9's on movement.  He is straight Derwen bred and we have his first (and only) two foals of 2001.   Here's a link to the first!  We now have one more foal by 'Nugget' out of GW Atlanta for 2002.  Nugget, now known as 'Chivy' by his new owners, is fox-hunting in Virginia - hanging with the 'IN' crowd no doubt!

His first BIG show at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, Feb 2001 resulted in Grand Champion Cob!

And he has also won the

Canterbury Dressage Series 2000

Year-end High Score Stallion!
