Solstice Arabian Knight
( we call him A.K. )

(June 2008 - 1/2 Welsh + 1/2 Arabian)

out of purebred Arabian – Astari Primadonna
(that's her below)

and sired by our young stallion Solstice Blaque Knight,
a 15.2hand multi-Supreme champion, black Welsh Cob.

This beautiful purebred Arabian mare, Astari Primadonna, is the dam of Starbound and our latest, Solstice Arabian Knight, a liver-chestnut colt sired by our Cob stallion, Solstice Blaque Knight.  She (the mare) now belongs to Caroline Lacey-Freeman of Jadehanna Ranch and is enjoying the attention of many loving hands and being ridden by very lucky young ladies.

In June of 2008, Prima gave us this truly beautiful colt with fabulous conformation and a super mind.

The five photos directly below are from Oct 2010, the two at the bottom are from 2008.

A filly born March 2006
She is pictured here as a yearling, but is now a beautiful 15.2 hand three year old.
She is extremely friendly, is her sire’s very last foal ever
(Al Mustari, imported from the UK, owned & loved for many years by
Mary Harvey of Astari Arabians, until his death in 2007 – at age 27)

Margrita Divina is now three and we are starting her ground work in prep for her under saddle introduction.  She is showing an amazing ability to learn, and is very tuned in to people, just like her dam Sangria and her GrandDam.  (We owned them too)  Her athletic ability is off the charts and her movement is everything we had hoped for from this cross.

Solstice Starbound (Star-b) a filly born in January 2007, pictured here as a weanling, and what a show-off!  She is so gentle and kind, never questions anything – her lovely suspended trot takes your breath away. She has her sire’s presence & charisma, and conformation for the halter ring or sport horse in hand. She has a driving-suitable disposition and we feel she will make a fabulous Half-Arabian carriage driving mare, and follow in her famous sire’s hoofprints – both as driven & ridden.

She was sold to the owner's of her sire *Minyffordd Megastar, our good friends Todd & Bonnie Barbey, and is now in Colorado.  Bonnie said (and I quote) "she has springs in her feet."
